Full Job Description
We are seeking a strong, commercially astute, customer and people centric Village Manager to manage our prominent The Gardens on Linfield village in Helensvale, QLD.

Set in colourful native gardens and situated a mere 20 kilometres from the thriving beachside promenade of Surfers Paradise, The Gardens on Lindfield is a peaceful sanctuary offering relaxation and recreation. It’s a beautiful village with a warm and welcoming atmosphere which instils a sense of belonging, security, and peace of mind. With resort-style luxuries at every turn, including a gym, spa, heated pool, croquet lawn and bowling green, you’ll never find yourself without something enjoyable to do.

In this hands-on position, you will play a key role to ensure the operational, financial standards and success of the village are maintained, as well as the comfort and happiness of our residents. You will be responsible for leading and supporting the team, creating a positive, safe and people focused culture and creating the best village, lifestyle and health & wellbeing solutions for our residents and their families.

As the Village Manager, you will develop and maintain outstanding working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and play an active role in the village and wider local community. Further responsibilities in the role will include implementing operational plans including resident community and maintenance program; managing day-to-day operations across the Village, overseeing the financials and budget including capital works, managing the sales process and meeting/exceeding assigned resale targets, managing the contractors and strategically driving resident satisfaction through programs developed around community engagement and service offering. Further, you will form a close working relationship with the Sales Manager to ensure any sales related enquiries are made aware of appropriately.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in operations management, ideally from the Senior Living, Aged Care, Hotel or Hospitality sector. You will be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, commercial aptitude, application of rigorous EHS requirements, along with your ability to work on competing priorities. You demonstrate a passion for the industry and a customer service approach that sees you operate with a high level of integrity at all times. Additionally, you will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills that will allow you to interact with your team & residents effectively.
