About the role

This is a permanent part time position at our Regis Sandgate home, working various AM and PM shifts across the 7 day week. Our Laundry staff are the people who we trust to provide clean clothes and linen to our residents every day. This requires strong time management and the ability to efficiently coordinate your day.

Duties & Responsibilities

Always interact with the residents in friendly, helpful and positive manner
Deliver excellent customer service in all that you do
Complete reporting and documentation based on Regis policy and procedure
Always work as part of a team to help others and demonstrate a team spirit
Ensure all laundry requirements are met each shift

Skills & Experience

Experience within Aged Care (desirable)
Ability to complete set tasks within time frames provided
Previous experience in a laundry capacity/commercial laundry

To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:

Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure)
Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
