Full Job Description
The Role: A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join ACH Group on a full-time basis in the critical role of Residential Admissions Manager. Leading the Admissions team, the position will be integral to leading and managing the delivery of quality residential admissions services and support for new residents and their families in transitioning to life in one of our beautiful residential care homes across Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula.

Lead a team supporting admissions for 8 residential care facilities in Adelaide and the Fleurieu Peninsula
Oversee the admissions portfolio
Maintain accurate customer records and databases
Strive for high quality and full compliance to standards in the team
Provide accurate and timely advice and support to new residents and their families considering entry to one of ACH Group's residential care homes
Develop and adhere to processes to ensure residents are placed in a timely manner
Deliver high levels of customer service by supporting the older person through a smooth transition to residential care whilst maintaining a 'customer-centric' sales approach
Accountability for the accuracy and ongoing maintenance of the waiting lists
About You!
A high level of competency and professionalism is required in order to represent ACH Group with high levels of empathy and to establish and maintainpositive relationships with residents and other stakeholders throughout ACH Group. You will have a strong customer service focus and demonstrate strong attention to detail. It is essential that you have outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build empathy and deal with a variety of people, as well as lead the team. You will also have strong organisational skills, be able to manage your time and prioritise your daily tasks.

Knowledge of current relevant legislation relating to resident contracts and agreements, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and the Aged Care Act
Understanding of ACFI, ACAT and resident admission assessment process
High level of relevant aged care knowledge and experience
Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills
Intermediate computer skills
Proactive and relationship oriented
Experience in managing a small team

The successful candidate will need to provide a 2020/21 Flu Vaccination Statement and a satisfactory police clearance less than 12 months old before commencement, as well as a DHS Disability Clearance.

As this role requires travel, please note that a current 'C' class Drivers Licence is a must.
