Welfare Recruitment Solutions are working closely with a NFP organisation seeking a Lead Clinician with

experience delivering support with the coordination and to programs which enhance Older Persons wellbeing.

You
Your background can either as a Social Worker or Registered Psychologist - with your practice being Mental health, Older Persons, and Suicide Prevention. This is a 12 month contract with a high possibility of going permanent.
You will be working with a small team, and report into the Group Manager of Suicide Prevention Services.

The Role 
This position provides available and individual 
group counselling support to Older Persons both; residing in Aged Care Retirement Villages.

Key Responsibilities 

• Line manage and support staff across the Mental Health and Resilience program so that they are able achieve program deliverables and purposes.
• Deliver individual or group counselling services to support clients
  life transitions, relationship issues and key triggers for depression
  and mood disorders.
• Motivate and promote a positive culture across all service areas and provide leadership that is supportive, Non -judgemental of the companies values.

• Minimum of 3 years experience 
• Social worker Degree or
• Registered Psychologist degree.
• Demonstrated skills or experience in line managing staff and mental health programs.
• Advanced skills in counselling practices and methods.
• A firm understanding of WH&S.
• Experience delivering mental health training.
• Experience working within a complex case management environment. 
• Experience working within family or community services.
