About the role

The Digital Lead Hospitals will provide expert advice and project leadership to analyse Calvary's clinical systems and deliver a digital technology roadmap for Calvary Private Hospitals. This position will play a pivotal role in working towards Stage 5 HMISS maturity by providing systematic, high quality, safe care through optimised and streamlined workflows, increased collaboration, and digitally enabled care records. In collaboration with the key stakeholders, the National Clinical Governance team and the clinicians, the role will lead a team to analyse and outline the actions needed to integrate digital solutions within hospitals into every patient interaction and use of these to improve the quality of care and experience of patients, and support the workforce by providing efficient tools.

You will utilise your experience in clincal systems to provide insight, recommendations, and identify improvements. Strong communication skills are essential for working with key stakeholder to document processes, lead engagement with vendors, and working with key stakeholders to identify improvements. Your project management experience will be essential to develop timelines, project actions, milestones and key outcomes to present a fully costed business case. What you bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in clinical or life sciences (a combination of relevant experience and qualfiications from other disciplines may be considered)
  • Demonstrated leadership management in a health care setting
  • Functional experience with healthcare journey mapping and digital clinical systems
  • Strong communication skills with focus on understanding customer needs
  • Experience in project or change management will be highly regarded
  • A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
