About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager this position supports customer service for care home operations and also provides administrative support to Administration Officers and the Client Services Team.

The Administration Assistant role is part-time and provides support to the General Manager as well as a key contact for all residents and their families. This role will be directly responsible for the administrative function at reception as well as responding to any queries on the telephone and by email.

About You

The ideal candidate will ensure that the highest level of administrative and support is provided to staff, the leadership team, residents and family members. You will maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, and be able to liaise with people at all levels, and work in a highly confidential manner.

To be successful in the Administration Assistant role with Aurrum, you will need to have:

  • Demonstrated experience in an Administrative/ Customer Service role (prior exposure to Aged Care or Healthcare would be highly desirable)
  • Good computer Literacy
  • Can demonstrate competence and experience operating staff rostering/ workforce management systems
  • High level of verbal, written communication and numeracy skills
  • Exceptional time management skills and ability to to manage competing priorities
  • Valid National Police check (specific to work in aged care)
  • Influenza Immunisation Certificate for the current year
  • Valid NDIS Worker Clearance
