- 20 positions (to be eligible, you must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident)
- Earn a wage whilst gaining experience and attaining a Cert III
- Traineeships commence early May 2021 (duration-12 months and longer)
- Approximately 25 hours a week in-home care, with 1 day per month on campus and 3 hours per month virtually delivered (both included in the 25 hours)
- Under the supervision and guidance of a Community Care mentor, you will provide quality individualised in-home support services to older residents, such as home care, personal care, respite and individual support
- Must have a current valid driver licence and access to a car
- On successful completion you will gain a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing Home and Community)
- You will be paid while you study during the traineeship
- You have the option to adjust your hours of availability to work around your other commitments, although we are always looking for staff to work early mornings from 7am onwards and late afternoon
- Ongoing workplace mentor to guide and assist you throughout your traineeship
- 5pm–6.30pm, Wednesday 7 April 2021–Online TBA
- 11am–1pm, Thursday 8 April 2021–Springvale location TBA
