ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking passionate Home Care Workers who have a keen interest in connecting with and supporting clients in the local Wellington community to live well at home by providing assistance with:
- Domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Personal care including, showering and personal grooming
- Assisted shopping and transportation of clients to and from appointments
- Socialisation and connecting clients with their family and the community
- In home respite
The role offers:
- Ongoing support provided by your Regional Care Team
- Smart phone to connect with Mercy supports and manage your day to day work
- Opportunity to work and be involved in your local community
ABOUT YOU:
If you have a relevant qualification in Aged Care or disability, are passionate about making a difference in the lives of people in your local community, a current First Aid certificate (level 2) and Drivers Licence, then we want to hear from you!
