About the Role:
Working as part of a clinical team of empathetic, caring and compassionate professionals’, you will make a positive meaningful difference in the lives of elderly people.  

General Main Responsibilities 

• Assisting with Residents to enable them to achieve their daily activities including personal care task; showers, dressing, tidying, feeding, taking prescribed medication, hobbies and social activities within a negotiated time frame.
• Monitor the Residents wellbeing and reporting any changes including psychological, social and physical to the RN’s or EN’s.
• Participating in shift handovers to ensure residents goal setting and care plan information is up to date. 
• Document and review to achieve resident goals to enable them to achieve their daily activities.
• Communicate clearly with residents, developing strong relationships with both residents and their families to address any further needs.

Basic Minimum Requirements:

• Excellent Communication Skills
• Certificate III in Individual Support / Certificate IV in aging support or equivalent.
• In-date First Aid/ CPR and Manual Handling and COVID-19 Training 
• Must have full working rights in Australia 
• Experience in working as of a Clinical Team
• Current Police Check
• Full understanding if the Aged Care Quality standards and the role you play in this.
