ABOUT THE ROLES:

Are you interested in ongoing casual work with a values-based not for profit? We are seeking applications for Home Care Workers and Domestic Assistants within the Northern and Eastern regions of Melbourne, including:

  • Hawthorn
  • Burwood
  • Camberwell
  • Toorak
  • Carlton North
  • Fitzroy North
  • Fitzroy
  • Collingwood
  • Clifton Hill
  • Abbotsford
  • Richmond
  • Mulgrave
  • City of Monash
  • City of Manningham

In these roles the tasks will vary, however you will be involved in supporting the everyday needs of our clients to live meaningfully and independently in their own homes by providing care in accordance with the care plan and individual needs.

Depending on your skills and experience, tasks may include:

  • Assistance with personal care
  • Domestic services such as cleaning and laundry
  • Assistance with meal preparation
  • Assistance with shopping/client appointments
  • Respite care
  • Other general household and care duties as required

Casual work is currently available Monday to Friday, with some weekend work. Where possible, successful applicants will be rostered to a geographic region to aim to limit travel.

ABOUT YOU:

We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently available for casual work. If you are looking to get back into the workforce, studying, currently looking for a new role or have availability for extra work at a casual capacity, we could have the perfect opportunity for you! To be successful, candidates will also require the following:

Home Care Worker:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Home Care, Individual Support or equivalent
  • Current First Aid Certificate (Level 2)
  • Current Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to speak Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable

Domestic Assistant

  • Experience working in the Community Care, Aged Care or Disability Sector is advantageous, but not essential
