The Role

Monash Health Covid 19 Vaccination Clinics require an experienced Administration Manager on a fixed term capacity, working full time (76 hours per fortnight) .

The Administration Manager is responsible for a variety of supervisory and administrative activities that support the Vaccination Clinics operation whilst promoting and maintaining an open communication flow with all internal and external stakeholders. The role will ensure all administrative activities are performed in line with Monash Health and Department of Health policies and procedures.

The role will drive a team-based approach providing administrative staff with knowledge, education and training to uphold a high quality of performance.

To be successful in this role you must demonstrate:

  • Experience in leading an Administrative team in a healthcare environment or similar

  •  An ability to supervise team workflows to deadlines and prioritise team and own tasks;

  • A commitment to high quality patient care and a patient centred approach to service delivery.

  • An ability in the accurate and timely analysis and reporting of agreed KPI’s;

  • An Ability to work in a fast paced, data intensive transactional environment;

  • Initiative in continuous improvement of processes and procedures

  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams);

  • Experience using IPM

  • Effective communication skills with demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive professional relationships with various stakeholders

In this full time, 6 month fixed term contract your flexible availability is key to being available if required across seven days per week (Monday - Sunday).

As you will work across various Monash Health sites, a valid driver’s licence is essential.

  • A willingness to learn and share skills and experience with the team

  • Appropriate qualification in health or management
