About Us 

Monash Health Physiotherapy is a dynamic service with dedicated, highly skilled physiotherapists. The team includes approximately 330 Physiotherapists, Exercise Physiologists and Allied Health Assistants providing services across 5 Acute and Sub Acute Hospitals as well as community services. About the Role

This full time, permanent position is based at Monash Medical Centre Clayton but may be required to work at any Monash Health site. This Generalist Physiotherapy position offers a varied caseload with flexibility to utilise your acute surgical, general medical and neurosciences skills across the continuum of care and spectrum of adult age ranges. The successful applicant will provide positive leadership to support the multi-disciplinary team and the broader Monash Health Physiotherapy team. This position is a fantastic opportunity for new or experienced Grade 2 Physiotherapists and you will be supported by a large, progressive and dynamic Physiotherapy department.

About You 

You have broad ranging, recent clinical experience with patients across the continuum of care, and a passion for the management of the older patient in the acute setting. You will have advanced clinical reasoning skills with some experience in providing clinical education preferred. Some weekend work will be expected. You will have access to resources to support you in this position, enabling you to further advance your leadership and clinical skills whilst delivering a high standard of patient care.

What you need:

  • Current AHPRA registration and proven clinical experience;

  • Relevant working visa; and

  • Relevant qualifications.
