About the opportunity:
Reporting to the Group FPA Director, the Head of FPA role is responsible for both the planning and reporting requirements for the Bupa ANZ Group. The role is critical in managing and coordinating the annual planning and forecasting process to align with the global timetable and meet local requirements. From a reporting perspective, this role is responsible for ensuring the co-ordination of the Executive level/Board /UK Reporting for Bupa ANZ. This role will be the key conduit between the Market unit and the Business unit Finance Directors to advise, influence, drive and deliver timely and insightful management reporting and Commercial decision making.

Key Responsibilities:
Work with the CFO, Group FPA Director, Finance Directors of the Business units, Head of Strategy and other relevant stakeholders, establish the financial strategy and annual operating plan for Bupa ANZ
Manage monthly, half-yearly and annual financial results of the ANZ Group.
Co-ordinate the financial and management reporting across all Bupa ANZ businesses, which includes performance analysis and valued insights
Provision of monthly reporting to UK Group FPA team
Work closely with Finance Services team on delivery of process improvements to the planning and reporting systems and enablement of greater report automation.
Work closely with the Group Financial Controller to deliver efficient and effective end to end reporting and robust cost allocation models across the business
Work with Business Unit Finance Directors to leverage individual business unit insights across the broader Bupa business
Work with Corporate Affairs to support external release of half-year and year-end financial results and regular monitoring of KPIs for communication to the Senior Leadership Group.
Manage, design, implement and review finance policies and procedures to ensure continuous improvement and contemporary relevant practices are adopted.

You will be/have:-

Degree Qualified Accountant
Professional Affiliation - CA or CPA
Finance leader with 10 years plus experience, with Financial Planning and Analysis experience preferred
Manage the forecasting and reforecasting process, working with both stakeholders within the ANZ market unit and Group FPA teams
Strong financial and analytical capability combined with outstanding commercial acumen
Exposure to driver-based planning and reporting to lead Oracle Planning upgrade and process improvements
Experience with integrated income statement, balance sheet and cash flow planning
A strong influencer, with the ability to gain alignment and commitment to delivery of outcomes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in preparing reports and presentations.
Proven ability to understand key financial and business drivers and provide meaningful insight to help resolve complex business and commercial issues in a dynamic environment.
Proven understanding and experience in finance systems management
A senior leader, capable of providing clear direction to the team, setting high standards, motivating, coaching and empowering the team to deliver
