JOB DESCRIPTION

We're pleased to be seeking an experienced aged care leader to support ours services as the Residential Services Partner, Regional and Remote Services.
Reporting into our Blue Care Executive team, this role will partner with our 8 residential services between Mareeba down to Gladstone, providing expert advice whilst developing and delivering innovative initiatives focused on person-centred care.

Working alongside your regional General Manager, you will drive your services clinical capability, developing contemporary, safe-practices through quality and care governance. You’ll support your leaders in achieving residential KPI’s, identifying trends, prioritising focus and driving operational excellence through initiatives aligned to Blue Care’s organisational strategy.

A key leadership role, you will build accountability through your mentorship, cementing our new residential structure and influencing the success of your service group. This role will be based in any of the regional centres between Cairns and Gladstone, with other locations in-between these centres negotiable.

What you’ll bring:
With a broad clinical background in residential care, your experience has equipped you with the skills and knowledge to navigate the complexities of an industry undergoing significant and continuous change.

Your interpersonal skills have enabled you to build strong, effective relationships, working quickly and resolutely to problem-solve and achieve resident-focused outcome. With a talent for innovation, you’ve proven your ability to drive continuous improvement activities in similar organisations.

You’ll present with:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Nursing/Health discipline or equivalent experience in high level service delivery and quality.
  • Current AHPRA or professional body registration is highly desirable
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of government funding requirements and guidelines in an Aged Care/Health environment.
  • Current Australian Driver’s License

You will be comfortable travelling within the region, with an expectation of at least 1 week per month visiting your partner facilities.
