Casey Aged Care has 146 residential aged care beds and is located in Narre Warren, Victoria. We pride ourselves on delivering the best care for our residents and firmly believe that happy staff equates to happy residents.

About the Role ...

The role of Administration Officer is a dynamic busy position reporting to the Manager Aged Care and supporting functions of customer service-reception and answering telephone enquiries, supporting families and visitors to the home on requirements for safe entry to the home, supporting admin functions, answering general face to face queries from residents, families and staff and arranging tours of of the home for families as well as, drafting correspondence and supporting the key management team and a variety of other general administration tasks.

  • Computer savvy, you will love processes, procedures and have a keen eye for detail.

To be successful in this Role the essential requirements are:

  • Experience as an Administration Officer in Aged Care or a similar Health related organisation.
  • Excellent customer service, professional front of house presentation, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to develop good working relationships 
  • Highly organised and ability to manage time effectively
  • A strong interest and passion for working within residential aged care
  • Knowledge and experience of petty cash and accounts
  • Excellent computer skills including MS Office
  • Attention to detail and systematic approach
  • Drivers Licence 
  • A Current Police Check
  • A Flu vaccination.

It would be also be an advantage to have the following:

  • Qualifications in Business Administration and / or Customer Service
  • An understanding of the Aged Care Standards, Aged Care accreditation, continuous improvement and OH&S.
