The Department of Health plays a critical role in the Victorian health system and is responsible for shaping it to meet the health needs of Victorians into the future. We also lead the Victorian Government's response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Working with our partners, we oversee Victoria's health system including mental health, ageing and aged care and preventive health. The Manager Events oversees the delivery of high-profile events and speeches for Victorian Government ministers and executives to support communications and engagement outcomes. The role manages a team of events and speechwriting professionals who deliver a range of ministerial events, awards programs and speeches across all health and human services portfolios.

You will lead the Communication and Media branch's relationship with these important stakeholders and a range of external agencies. You will manage the Events team and work closely with senior departmental staff to deliverpositive outcomes for the department and Victorians. Your organisational skills and eye for detail will be crucial in helping to deliver a large number of events.
