Lendlease Building is searching for a Site Manager to join one of our key business units, User Experience, that will be based on a large residential building project in the Central Coast, NSW.

The Lendlease User Experience team provide project management, design and construction services to our national and multi-national corporate clients across broad property portfolios. We have transformed the performance of our clients’ people and places across a diverse, multi sector portfolio, including commercial, retail, banking, fuel, education, retirement and aged care projects.

The Role:

The Site Manager will take ownership of site safety management, develop short and medium range construction programmes and construction methodology whilst managing sub-contractors to ensure the timely delivery of high quality, safe construction work. Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will manage and mentor a team who are supervising the delivery of specific trades and work packages across the project. You will also work closely with your Project Engineer to pre-empt and resolve construction issues on site and to meet the project program.

Requirements:

  • Experienced Site Manager and/or General Foreman on medium/large building projects, up to the value of $100mil, within a tier 1-3 main contractor environment
  • Demonstrated new build residential project experience is preferred, however not essential.
  • Trade or building background.
  • Effective leadership capabilities will also be key as will a passion for customer focused outcomes, driving safety, quality, and sustainability.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with a collaborative nature.
