CareChoice is a specialist provider of experienced support staff in disability and complex care. We are dedicated and committed to our clients and regularly receive requests for new services that create immediate openings for great people to join our supportive team.

CareChoice provide 24-hour support making a variety of different shifts available, including mornings, afternoons, active nights and weekends. We focus on providing the right person, on time, every time so that our clients feels confident to achieve their goals.

The Role:
We are looking for a number of disability support workers who have experience working with clients with their manual handling and personal care needs.

Our client requires 24 hour 1:1 care which includes active overnight shifts. The ideal support worker will be willing to actively engage with our client and assist them with their daily routine.

The shifts will vary from daytime in home support, to evening sleepover shifts. Our client requires assistance with personal care, manual handling and accessing the community. Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manual Handling
  • Home/domestic care
  • Medication Assistance
  • Personal care
  • Assisted social outings
  • Assisting with hydrotherapy

Support Worker Profile:

Minimum requirements for this role include:

  • Previous experience with manual handling and personal care
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • A current First aid – Within 3 years
  • CPR certificate – Within 12 months
  • A current Working With Children Check (Victorian)
  • An international police check (where applicable)
  • A current drivers licence
  • Ability to engage and build rapport with clients
  • Certificate IV in Disability, Certificate III in aged care or equivalent is highly desirable but not essential
