Aginic is a Data Analytics and Business Intelligence business full of smart, awesome and fun-loving people. As we continue expanding our team across Australia, we are currently seeking a Marketing Manager who will be a key member of the growth team.

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the strategy and day-to-day execution of the marketing and communications functions at Aginic, helping improve our reputation, market awareness and overall growth.

This is an exciting role at a time where our young, vibrant company is rapidly expanding.

Given we have offices in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne, we’re opening this role up to the best candidate from any of these cities along the East Coast.

  • You’re a marketing expert with technical chops
  • You have proven experience in a B2B, services-based industry
  • You’ve got strong strategic and technical marketing skills, and are willing and capable of rolling the sleeves up to ‘do the doing’
  • You are comfortable moving between multiple products and have a good ability to context switch quickly
  • You know how to manage multiple stakeholders, and are an excellent communicator in all forums
  • You thrive on collaboration, and can also work independently to get things moving
  • You balance analytical thinking with genuine creativity
  • You’re buzzed on the role business intelligence can play in solving big business problems, and you can geek out on cool new technology

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead Aginic’s brand and sales campaigns, combining data analysis with creative brand marketing to drive more awareness, website traffic and leads
  • Own and manage Aginic’s marketing collateral, including sales decks, website content, product demos, case studies, tender documents, promotional flyers and partner marketing material
  • Collaborate with the creative and design team to develop engaging and informative collateral
  • Play an active role in BD and growth discussions with cross-regional stakeholders
  • Manage all direct, industry-wide and partner related events
  • Play an active role in all communications and PR initiatives, including press release development, partner announcements and publicity generation
  • Governance of social media strategies – delivering the effective creation, curation and moderation of social media content to brand objectives for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social media
  • Manage the marketing budget with the finance team
  • Play a support role to our Aginic Ventures studio and portfolio products, assisting the Commercial and Community Lead with marketing and communications initiatives where time permits
  • Contribute collaboratively to Aginic’s broader strategic thinking and direction


Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with proven commercial marketing, communications or design experience (agency experience welcome). We think 5-6 years marketing experience is about right, but don’t let that hold you back from applying if you think that your career is at the right stage for this role
  • Strong project management, multitasking, and decision-making skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with:
    • CRM tools such as Hubspot, Salesforce, Capsule, Pipedrive or alike
    • CMS tools such as Wordpress, Webflow, Joomla… or alike
    • Social media tools such as Sprout social, Hootsuite, or alike
    • Website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends or alike
    • Email marketing tools such as Hubspot, Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor or alike
    • SEO tools such as SEMRUSH, Moz, Ahrefs or alike
    • Social media analytics tools such as Netbase, Meltwater, Social Bakers or alike
    • Google Adwords, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio
    • LinkedIn Business Manager

Nice to have

  • Experience in the health, education, utilities or aged care sectors
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud products, or Figma
  • Knowledge or experience working in an agile environment
  • Understanding and experience with leading data analytics and BI tools
  • Advertising agency or media experience
