Sitting with the HR Systems team, working with HR and various other stakeholders to manage the technical aspects of the HR platforms and databases. The effective operation of these systems/databases is crucial for supporting the thousands of staff and ensuring smooth processes for things such as payroll, reporting, HR, etc.

This position will work within the HR Systems team and is expected to demonstrate a high degree of proficiency with technical systems and associated processes.

The appointee is accountable for participation in planning, documentation of procedures, process execution, training and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expertise to optimise the performance of the various reporting systems and be responsible for the on-going monitoring of performance and the resolution of any performance problems.
  • To support the administration and application of the payroll system (Chris21) and payroll tool (Kronos), as well as the management of interfaces between these systems
  • To assist in the production of organisational reporting and the management of interfaces and integration between systems
  • To provide support and advice for sustainable improvements in information technology facilities and services related to systems
  • To produce ad hoc reports from the Databases as required by Managers throughout the Organisation
  • Demonstrate data management skills, including planning, negotiation, monitoring and reporting

Key Requirements

  • Technical ability to administer Databases
  • Troubleshooting transaction assistant in Databases
  • Strong understanding in the use of Chris21 payroll system
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office suite, Kronos
  • Ability to solve technical and data integration problems
