Multiple federal roles at an APS5 level. Contract positions through to November 2021 with options to extend beyond and based in Geelong. Reporting into the Assistant Director.

The Streamline Sourcing team sits within the Procurement and Corporate Services Branch, supporting the Agency to build and maintain an agile Labour Hire workforce.

As an APS5 Streamlined Sourcing Officer will be responsible for workforce sourcing, which includes procurement, on-boarding and financial management of external resources (Labour Hire Workers) across the Agency. You will have well-developed communication skills, including the ability to communicate in a confidential and sensitive manner. Using your judgement you will need to have the ability to handle time-critical tasks and be required to develop and maintain relationships with managers to direct their requests for resources to the appropriate service provider.

You will be responsible for:
Ensuring that Labour Hire Workers are engaged through agreed procurement channels and tracked throughout the Streamlined Sourcing process.
Development of procurement documentation
Collate candidate packages for assessment by the requesting business area
Raise contracts and purchase orders
Respond to enquiries as an SME
Review all documentation received for accuracy and completeness
Manage the timely on-boarding of successful candidates
Maintain a high level of communication with all stakeholders
Maintain internal relationships, as well as with external stakeholders

Success Factors
Outstanding internal and external stakeholder management
Provide subject matter expertise on recruitment and on-boarding functions of external staff.
Intermediate understanding of the MS Office Suite.
Demonstrated experience managing high volume requests and ability to multitask.
Ability to remain composed in a changing, faced-paced environment.
Previous experience using HR and/or Finance business systems.
Understanding of procurement processes.
Experience in the disability, aged care, health or state/federal government sector would be a bonus.

Recruitment and/or procurement experience is not necessary for this position, however is highly regarded. A diverse career background, coupled with a proactive attitude and ability to manage frequent change is desirable.
