About Nutrition and Dietetics at Monash Health


Nutrition and Dietetics covers the continuum and the life span. We have a strong commitment to evidence based practice, patient centred care and continuous improvement. We provide supervision to Monash university dietetic students, professional development, and research and quality activities.


About the Role


As a casual dietitian locum at Monash Health you will fill vacancies in either a part time of full time capacity. You will provide nutrition assessment, intervention and management of adult patient/clients within the hospital setting. You will work closely with colleagues to provide streamlined services and work collaboratively within an inter-professional team.


Casual staff are well supported by a large team and provided with supervision by a senior staff member.


About You:



  • You are an innovative and dynamic clinician who possesses a strong patient centred focus

  • You possess excellent clinical reasoning and communication skills and are committed to evidence based practice

  • You have knowledge and experience working closely within a multidisciplinary team

  • You have proven clinician experience


What you need:



  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics or equivalent

  • Eligible for membership of the Dietitians Australia (DA) and the Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) program.

  • At least 2 years clinical experience

  • Experience in Hospital setting

  • 2 clinical referees

  • Please Note - New or recent graduates are not eligible to apply for this position
