Workplace location

Forming part of the Hollywood Village complex, Regis Weston aged care facility is located next to Hollywood Private Hospital, Hollywood Reserve and only a short stroll to the renowned Kings Park and Botanic Gardens in the Perth suburb of Nedlands. With sister residence Regis Park, Regis Weston shares a series of buildings, including a day therapy centre, mini-mart, pharmacy and a hairdressing salon. Communal areas are equally welcoming, especially our spacious lounge areas which are used regularly for family functions, impromptu gatherings and our weekly happy hour. Several lounges also have pianos so they are perfect for popular sing-a-longs.

About the role

This is a permanent part time role, working a variety of morning and afternoon shifts across the 7 day week.

Duties & Responsibilities

Maintaining the highest possible standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence with a strong focus on minimising health risks and maximising safety

Skills & Experience

Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, health care or Aged Care environment
Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage and disposal of chemicals
Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment
Clear communication skills both written and verbally
A passion for interacting with our residents

To be eligible to join the team at Regis we require the following:

Consistent with State and Territory public health orders and with Regis’ mandatory vaccination policy, all candidates must produce evidence that they have received the current (i.e. 2021) seasonal influenza vaccination or medical evidence to Regis’ satisfaction of an accepted clinical contraindication to receiving the influenza vaccination
Proof of the right to work lawfully in Australia
Valid National Police Check (Full disclosure or standard disclosure)
