About the Role 

The Grade 2 Occupational Therapist is responsible for working within the Community Rehabilitation program to provide best practice client care, achieve maximal operational effectiveness, develop organisational competencies and create strong partnerships within and outside of Monash Health. Drawing upon professional expertise in rehabilitation and community practice, the Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist provides assessment and intervention to clients in the centre as well as their own environment, for example, their home or local community. The Community Rehabilitation Occupational Therapist participates in quality improvement activities within the team and larger Occupational Therapy Network.

This position may be required to work at any of the Monash Health sites.

About You:

  • A relevant Occupational Therapy qualification

  • At least 3 years clinical experience

  • knowledge of NDIS

  • experience with individual and group interventions

What you need:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent with Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency ( AHPRA).

  • Willingness to permit a Victorian Police Check. 

  • Working with Children's Check.

  • Well developed interpersonal communication and problem- solving skills within a broad range of clinical, community and organisational interactions.
