Position Grade: Technical Officer Garde 1-2
Salary: $57,563.40 to $84,384.75 base salary per annum

Position Summary:
A vacancy exists in Haematology for a highly motivated Technical Officer with appropriate knowledge and skills to join our friendly and supportive team. The successful applicant(s) will be rotated through the laboratory areas of Haematology, Haemostasis and Transfusion Medicine.

The position will involve rostered shift work including rostered weekend work.

The vacancy is open to Australian citizens, New Zealand citizens who hold a valid New Zealand passport, Australian permanent residents and those non-residents deemed by the Department of Immigration and Citizenship to be eligible to work in Australia only.

Relevant academic qualifications.

Previous experience in Haematology, Haemostasis and Transfusion Medicine.

Previous experience with LIMS.

Previous IT experience.

Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment.

Effective written and oral communication skills.

Flexibility in work hours.
