Arcare North Shore / Townsville is now looking for a Residence Manager who is a good communicator, authentic and passionate and has the ability to lead by example whilst empowering their workforce.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
The General Services Manager is a major support role to the Residence Manager with responsibility for the rostering, marketing, environmental presentation, food services and administrative function of the Residence.

The successful candidate could have experience across any industry, however, a Management Qualification and experience in Aged Care or Healthcare setting would be ideal. We are looking for an approachable, friendly individual whose primary focus is customer service. Someone who has the initiative to not only motivate themselves, but also others and can support the team in achieving successful business outcomes.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

Previous experience in Aged Care or Health Services Sector

THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT MUST POSSESS THE FOLLOWING:
Ability to manage and lead teams
Proven ability to influence and negotiate to achieve beneficial outcomes
Knowledge of contemporary operational management principles
Pragmatic and logical in approach
Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
Proven decision maker
Proven ability to manage & successfully deliver projects on time and on budget
Must be results driven and focused
Ability to understand financial management process (ordering, reconciliation, reporting)
