Job Description:

Are you looking for a high paced, high volume dynamic role?

The Australia Defence Force (ADF) Health Services contract allows Bupa to provide health support to 85,000 ADF personnel across 59 facilities. Reporting to the Central Support Operations Team Leader in the Melbourne city office, new positions have become available to book specialist healthcare appointments on behalf of ADF personnel.

You will spend your time reviewing referral requests as they come in, prioritising the most urgent requests and making outbound calls to the variety of healthcare practitioners to make the booking. This role is a high paced, high volume, dynamic role, working in a large call centre team environment that is crucial to support the health and wellbeing of the ADF work force.

How will I help?

Key accountabilities include:

  • Assessing and processing bookings.
  • Inbound and outbound calls with customers and providers.
  • Booking and Enquiry Support.
  • Management of queue work.
  • Upload/ Download of files.
  • Accountable for your scorecard and its deliverables.
  • Attending and participating in team meetings, coaching sessions, training and one on ones.

What do I need?
  • Experience in customer service role from a fast paced, high volume call centre.
  • A passion for healthcare and/or Defence.
  • Expertise in high volume processing and administration (data entry).
  • Exceptional customer service, communication and business acumen.
  • An innate ability to multitask and manage a large workload with your robust time management skills.
  • Proven problem solving, prioritisation and decision-making abilities that allow you to consistently. meet and exceed turnaround times.
Baseline Security requirement
  • You must be an Australian citizen to apply for this role.
  • You must be able to attain and maintain a Baseline Security Clearance from the Defence Security and Vetting Service
