Physiotherapist Grade 1
Temporary Part Time - 16 hours per week until 30th July 2021

Colac Area Health currently has an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our dynamic Allied Health Team.

The successful applicant will have;

  • Approved tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy, AHPRA-Physiotherapy registration, and eligible for membership of Australian Physiotherapy Association
  • Excellent communication skills with a wide range of clients, health professionals and service providers
  • Ability to effectively work both independently as well as with a team to deliver physiotherapy care in a variety of settings
  • An understanding of factors affecting clients with acute, rehabilitation and gerontology needs
  • A philosophy of care that promotes client independence with their health, wellbeing and lifestyle
  • Experience or exposure in facilitating group therapy within community rehabilitation settings.
  • Experience or exposure in an acute hospital and/or aged care setting
  • Competent with various window based software programs and computer skills
  • Current Working with Children Check, Police Check, and Driver’s License
