Based in Macquarie Park and reporting to the General Manager, Residential Care, this senior leadership role is critical to the success of our organisation as we work to transform and position ourselves as a care provider of choice in an increasingly resident driven market.

This is a rewarding, holistic role in the overseeing and embedding the Care Excellence framework at Catholic Healthcare where you will be working strategically across the entire length and breadth of the business. As the Head of Clinical Governance, you will responsible for the provision of strategic leadership in:

  • Overseeing and embedding the Care Excellence framework across the business;
  • Championing a ‘culture of quality’ and supporting the Regional and Residential Managers to maintain the highest quality of care;
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with relevant government bodies, regulation agencies and the broader community;
  • Leading and developing the Care Excellence team, and more.

To be considered a successful candidate for the role, you will possess the following:

  • Understanding of and passion for aged care and macro trends;
  • Proven track record in clinical governance, including in reporting to Board and/or Board sub-committees;
  • Clinical Qualifications preferred;
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills;
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
  • Ability to drive change management to enable continuous improvement;
  • Ability to influence and support colleagues to continuously improve service and quality of care;
  • Experience in leading, managing and developing clinical governance, education.
