Are you interested in upcoming casual work? We are seeking expressions of interest for Care Companions to support our residents living at Mercy Place Montrose.

Care Companions are responsible for all primary care needs of our residents - including ADL care, provision of meals, cleaning and laundry. This role will contribute to a successful and sustainable care culture for our residents and families.

Mercy Place Montrose offers small household living – a small number of residents living together in each of our homes. Designed and built to feel just like home - with home cooked meals, comfortable spaces and personal laundry, our homes are connected to a village square with shops, where residents can walk, share coffee or enjoy time out with family and friends.


We are interested to hear from passionate and caring individuals who are currently or expect to be available for casual work. If you are looking to get back into the workforce, studying, or currently looking for a new role, we could have the perfect opportunity for you! To be successful, candidates will also require the following:

  • Certificate III or IV in Aged Care or Individual Support or equivalent
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work effectively within a team environment
  • Previous experience in cooking or in a hospitality environment
  • Demonstrated understanding of person-centered care
