The Exciting Opportunity:

Our client is looking for an Enrolled Nurse to join their Como facility working a 7 day fortnight from 7am to 3pm.

We are looking for a passionate and talented Enrolled Nurse who enjoys working in aged care supporting residents. On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:



  • Providing high quality, safe and effective nursing care that aligns with the individual residents preferences inline with the individuals care plans

  • Assisting the RN's to assess, plan, implement and evaluate resident care

  • Contributing in the allocation of workload to ensure quality care is received by all residents

  • Anticipating residents' changing health needs and manage requirements appropriately.

  • Supporting residents and their families by responding to queries and feedback in liaison with the Facility Manager

  • Attending to wound care and administration of medication

  • Maintaining clinical documentation to a high standard in a timely manner

  • Adhering to clinical accreditation standards

The Successful Candidate:



  • Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration

  • Experience in aged care setting

  • Some knowledge of ACFI assessments and documentation (preferred)

  • Passionate about aged care and taking care of residents in their twilight years

  • Highly organised, work well under pressure and have strong planning skills

  • Ability to motivate staff and promote a positive work environment

  • Able to identify clinical risk in the aged care setting

  • Flexible in responding to changing resident needs
