We are currently seeking applications from Enrolled Nurses for various shifts on part time or full time permanent contracts. Our Enrolled Nurses are confident leaders that support and mentor the care staff to provide outstanding care for our residents. In this position you will be responsible for leading a team of Carers as the Clinical Staff member on shift, confidence in your nursing skills is key in this role. The available shifts at our site in Salter Point are as follows;

Week 1
Thursday 1500-2215
Friday 1500-2215
Saturday 1500-2215

Week 2
Tuesday 1500-2215
Wednesday 1500-2215
Sunday 0700 - 1515

What you'll do;

  • Conduct comprehensive reviews of residents through appropriate assessments
  • Contribute in the allocation of workload for care staff
  • Support residents with care requirements in line with scope of practice
  • Monitor and assist in administering medications
  • Provide oversight and leadership to care staff
  • Supervise and mentor care staff on shifts and provide support
  • Complete ACFI documentation, assessments, care plan reviews, evaluations & Riskman reporting


You are passionate about quality of care, ensuring that you collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary healthcare team. You will contribute to a strong professional team approach through open communication and a positive supportive environment.

Essential Criteria

  • Current registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Previous experience in an Aged Care (advantageous)
  • Flu vaccination 2020 certificate
  • Valid Police Clearance less than 6 months' old or ability to obtain one
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
