As a division of the iconic brand of St Vincent’s Health Australia, SVCS provides compassionate and innovative care to the elderly, enabling hope for those we serve. SVCS is a leading Catholic provider of Aged Care Services in Australia with a legacy entrusted to us by the Sisters of Charity which stretches over 155 years.

You will be instrumental in carrying on this legacy by supporting a number of Executive Leaders across a diverse portfolio. You will be joining an experienced, engaged and cohesive team of leaders who are responsible for 20+ Aged Care Homes, Community Care and Independent Living Units through Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria.

This is a full-time position, based flexibly between our Bowen Hills office and your home with occasional travel to our locations as needed. This role covers a diverse and varied portfolio where no two days are the same!

To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Executive Support roles, ideally in a not-for-profit environment
  • A genuine passion for what you do – your work will help our various sites and divisions to run smoothly and will enable them to provide the best standards of care to our customers!
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills – you can produce multiple reports with speed and accuracy, and draft correspondence on behalf of the Executive as required
  • You have the confidence and skills to build and maintain relationships with people across all different departments within the organisation.
  • You’re truly motivated, confident and resilient – your positive attitude and ability to adapt your day to suit multiple competing demands will be vital in this role.
  • You’re a highly skilled administrator with excellent attention to detail
  • High degree of initiative and capacity to meet deadline and commitments whilst maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Prioritise tasks, forward plan and utilise time effectively – this is a fast paced and busy role and good time management skills are essential.
  • Manage multiple complex diaries with competing demands for time
  • Experience across a broad range of software such as Microsoft Office 365 and a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies – you’re the “go to” person for others!

Please note the following mandatory requirements need to be met in order to be eligible for this role:
  • A National Criminal History Check (less than 6 months prior to employment)
  • Evidence of current Flu vaccination (renewed annually).
  • Be willing to undertake COVID 19 vaccination if it becomes mandatory for Aged Care employees.
