About the role

An exciting new role for an experienced CSSD technician in our scope reprocesing room has become available at our Calvary North Adelaide site. We have a scope reprocessing unit that supports three procedural suites plus seven operating theatres.

As a CSSD Technician you will ensure reliably sterilised medical devices are available for use in all relevant areas where reusable medical devices are utilised.

In this role, you will require to:
Practice in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS4187 and other relevant standards
Participate in personal professional development
Complete annual requirements of HICMR Education Program
Complete all annual competencies relevant to area of practice
Participate effectively in department Quality Management Program
Effectively manage own time, prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
Effectively and efficiently utilise material resources

What you bring

Minimum Certificate 3 in sterilisation
Previous experience in a CSSD
Practices in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS4187 and other relevant standards
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation

Selection Criteria Essential: must have a minimum of cert 3 sterilisation certificate
Essential: Minimum of 12 months experience working in a CSSD/Reprocessing Room
Desirable: Effectively manage own time, prioritising tasks as required to meet workload demands
Essential: Practices in accordance with Infection Control principles, AS4187 and other relevant standards
Desirable: Experience working in an endoscopy suite
