About the role

Calvary Community Care's Learning and Development Team is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Educator. Joining a supporting, committed team of L&D practitioners, the Clinical Educator role is responsible for developing and delivering workshops, training programs and activities that support client centred care and support service delivery requirements that align with Calvary Community Care's mission to promote skill and capability development among our employees. The Clinical Educator will be responsible for the design, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of education related to clinical practice in community based clinical care. The role will also coordinate the mandatory training requirements for all staff and be responsible for the credentialing of Support Workers as required, completing required documentation post training. The Clinical Educator will act as a mentor, coach for all new and current clinicians and Support Workers and play a key role in the delivery of quality clinical services and client care.

What you bring

Current unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA).
Demonstrated ability to implement and evaluate clinical education within a community or acute health care setting and provide support and guidance to ensure an appropriately skilled and qualified nursing workforce, working within appropriate models of care.
Highly developed interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work in a consultative manner and to supervise other educators and trainers.
A desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisation
Unrestricted drivers licence.
