About the company

Working within a large aged care service within the Northern Beaches region of Sydney you will be supported by the wider management team within this leading NFP organisation.

The role

As a Facility Manger, you will be supported by a Clinical leadership team consisting of 2 Care Managers & a Clinical Care Coordinator plus a wider leadership team, to provide day to day operational & clinical direction, motivation & continuous development to your team members.

You will have the ability to establish & build effective relationships ensuring that residents have a connection within the local community and have the confidence that they are included within their daily living & clinical care needs.

Alongside your clinical insight you will also have excellent operational & financial acumen with the ability to ensure KPI’s, accreditation standards and quality indicators are met in line with industry guidelines.

Summary of Duties

  • Provide operational oversight to residents & care staff
  • Ensure occupancy levels are met & maintained
  • Ensure KPI’s, budgets and financial goals are achieved
  • HR & staffing support
  • Ensure compliance & quality indicators are met

Skills and Experience

  • AHPRA Registered Nurse registration (desirable)
  • Previous experience within aged care leadership role
  • Excellent people leadership skill set
  • Accreditation knowledge & experience
  • Understanding & working knowledge of ACFI processes
  • Experience with finance, budget & occupancy management
  • Ability to identify & improve areas for improvement
  • Consultative & effective communication skills
