SSS Australia is a medical/healthcare industry wholesale supplier. We have over 15,000 SKUs catalogued, and sell to over 1000 customers in the medical, aged care and hospital market in Australia. Family-owned for over 45 years, we are recognised and respected as the premier provider of healthcare supplies in Queensland. Our marketing department is small, but mighty. We work very closely with other key departments within the business, namely sales, in order to deliver for our customers and our internal KPIs on a daily basis. Our marketing operations are strongly focused in improving our mar-tech strategy. 


About You

You will be a great fit for this role if you are someone who has studied a tertiary marketing qualification (or is a significant way through studies in this field), you aspire to have a career in marketing, and you are working towards becoming a marketing manager (or similar) within the next 5 years. You are a competent graphic designer, and you have experience designing professionally for corporate clients. Ideally you have worked in a fast-paced design environment, and you are very proficient in this area (tertiary qualification not required). You might already be working in marketing role as a marketing assistant, and you’re ready to take a step forward in your career.

The Role

  • Producing artwork for print, digital and other required marketing assets within the business
  • Managing google and social media ads
  • Completing monthly marketing reports 
  • Creating content for website, social media and email marketing
  • Managing the social media and EDM marketing plans
  • Managing supplier advertising bookings by ensuring artwork is received, loaded and creating reports at the conclusion of the marketing activity
  • Monitoring of industry trends and competitor marketing activities
  • Involvement in the planning and execution of events, both internal and external


Skills Required 

Graphic Design

  • Proficient graphic designer, with experience utilising the Adobe Suite (most importantly InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop).
  • Experience with design for both digital and print applications
  • Experience following a style guide
  • Experience with, or a clear understanding of commercial graphic design (experience with things like catalogues, professional documents, magazines and educational material would be ideal)
  • Ability to take creative control and self-edit through the eye of the consumers
  • The ability to work quickly and proficiently with little guidance required
  • Desired: video recording & editing


Marketing

  • A tertiary level understanding of marketing concepts.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of marketing trends. 
  • A keen business acumen.
  • Experience utilising common marketing applications, including Shopify, general website CMS, Google Marketing Suite (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console), Social Media (for business), and MailChimp. 
  • An understanding of marketing analytics and utilising available data to produce marketing and business analysis. 
  • A strong motivation to learn and gain experience in the B2B marketing space.
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
  • Ability to accurately research and create content to a high standard. 
  • Knowledge and experience with website CMS and SEO. 
  • Experience with or understanding of GDPR database management

Knowledge of the healthcare industry and/or products is not required, but could be beneficial.
