The Royal Melbourne Hospital



As one of the largest health services in Victoria, and a team of more than 10,000 strong, we provide a comprehensive range of specialist medical, surgical, and mental health services; as well as rehabilitation, aged care, outpatient and community programs. We are a designated state-wide provider for services including trauma, and we lead centres of excellence for tertiary services in several key specialties including neurosciences, nephrology, oncology, cardiology and virtual health.



Your new team, 2 West



We are seeking the skills of dynamic and adaptable Registered Nurses (RNs) and Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to join our new team, 2 West. This is a perfect entry point for RNs and ENs looking to transition into an acute nursing setting.



2 West is a newly established 20 bed surgical and access ward dedicated to:



  • The management of elective surgical patients and acute admissions from ED. 

  • Providing comprehensive and holistic nursing care to both medical and surgical patients.

  • Working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality person centred care.

  • Being a part of a values driven organisation of people come first, leading with kindness and excellence together.


About You:



  • A well-developed range of clinical skills in general nursing.

  • Dynamic and adaptable with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to practice collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.

  • A high level of reliability and professional conduct.

  • Motivated and willing to adapt to a changing environment.
