Join NNP, a boutique people solution staffing agency that has an exciting 12-month contract with an immediate start with one of our Clients working across multiple Aged Care Facilities.

We are seeking experienced Senior Registered Nurses whose role will be responsible for conducting high-quality, independent Residential Aged Care assessments with residents of designated Residential Aged Care facilities for classification and funding purposes. The assessments are based on data analysis, desktop review of existing documentation, observations and conversations with Residents and care providers. The focus of the assessments is to gather information for classifications that will determine funding levels. There is a focus on improving restorative care and reablement for older Australians through determining cost drivers in relation to:

  • Palliative Care
  • Mobility
  • Function
  • Frailty
  • Cognition, communication, behaviour & mental health
  • Wound Care
  • Technical Nursing

The role is part of a positive, cohesive group of assessors who demonstrate a commitment to high performance and keep the needs of clients as central in their work.

Essential Criteria

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA Registration
  • Post 5 years of Australian experience working in Aged Care, Community Nursing or Palliative Care
  • Current Police Check
  • Live within 1 hour of the region

Desirable

  • Experience conducting clinical assessments using a range of assessment tools
  • Demonstrated Australian aged care experience including working with people with dementia
