RMH Project Officer, Occupational Violence & Aggression

  • Part Time position, 24 - 32 hours per week

  • 6-9 months fixed term (with potential of ongoing)

  • Contribute to the RMH OVA Systems and Improvement Taskforce

  • Map our OVA Management Systems

  • Support the design and evaluation of new initiatives to reduce OVA

Your new team:

  • Occupational Violence and Aggression (OVA) is an increasingly challenging issue in the health sector.

  • The RMH has numerous systems and resources to manage OVA risk, however we are looking to do more.

  • The RMH Executive team has established a taskforce specifically charged with raising the bar to improve our effectiveness in managing OVA to ensure the health, safety and wellbeing of our people.

Your success in this role, will be your ability to:

  • Report directly to the Executive Director People and Culture, and working closely with the OVA System and Improvement Taskforce.

  • Be responsible for working with stakeholders to shape new ideas, trial initiatives and set up processes for appropriate evaluation.

Your Contribution:

  • Clinical / Allied Health background

  • Understanding of OVA and its complexity

  • Excellent written skills and the ability to document complex concepts

  • Effective in engaging stakeholders and building relationships

  • Experience in research evaluation methodologies

  • Ideally some experience in leadership, education or other related area of influence
