What is the Opportunity?

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced medical device sales professional/mobility partner to join our passionate, highly driven and successful sales team, based in Brisbane, with responsibility for the Metro North region and the Northern QLD Aged Care Sectors. The primary focus of the role is to sell and promote Arjo products & services to new and existing customers within the region to Acute and Aged Care Sector clients. We are looking for a person to:

  • Lead the conversation with health executives in order to identify, grow, develop and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Network widely with key opinion leaders throughout healthcare facilities within Metro North and surrounding regional areas (public and private sector in both acute and aged care)
  • Identify new high-growth markets for new products;
  • See your ideas in action, by developing a strategic plan and business strategies for new products.
  • Explore new frontiers by identifying new revenue streams for existing product lines and lead annual market analysis by intelligence gathering on customers and competitors.
  • Maintain, manage and retain existing rental and consumable accounts

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

  • At least 3 years sales experience, with a strong clinical background in nursing, physiotherapy, or similar environment would be beneficial

  • A growth mindset, a belief that you are in control of your own ability, and can learn and improve your personal and professional outcomes.

  • Authentic and outstanding consultative selling (Selling 8 philosophy), active listening abilities, coupled with excellent interpersonal skills across all potential customers in a facility including executive level customers
  • Solid skill set with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (preferably Salesforce.com).
  • Ensure compliance with governmental and Company regulations as well as maintaining honesty, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • An obvious passion for exceeding your customer's expectations
  • A proven sales record and ability to meet quotas coupled with a strong desire to succeed with the ability to work collaboratively with both customers and colleagues
  • Polished; a strong impact and presence with the ability to motivate and influence people all with the ability to read body language, offer authentic empathy and demonstrated bravery.
  • A high level of confidence and comfort in various health care/medical settings and environments including executive suites.
  • Local knowledge of the healthcare market and established relationships with potential customers
  • Excellent organisational, time management, planning and analytical skills underpinned by personal accountability.
  • A high level of empathy and sensitivity to patients, residents and staff in health and medical settings
  • Resilient, autonomous, and self-motivated with demonstrated success in managing a regional or remote territory.
