We deliver on-site residential care and outreach community and therapy services to the area’s older population. Alwyndor has a person-centred approach to caring for its residents and is enjoying a steady trajectory of growth.

    About the Role

    An opportunity exists for a responsible and professional individual with empathy and passion for the elderly to join a highly respected, community minded Aged Care organisation.

    In this rewarding role you will work under the guidance of our Clinical Nurses where every day will be different. You will be responsible for providing high quality best practice clinical care that supports and enhances residents' individual lives.

    As a Registered Nurse at Alwyndor, you will have a basic understanding of ACFI documentation and Commonwealth standards. You will be a committed nurse who can demonstrate effective interpersonal and time management skills as well as the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.

    About you

    The ideal candidate will have:

    • Current registration with AHPRA
    • Completed a placement in and Aged Care environment
    • Ability to communicate effectively and honestly to achieve organisational goals
    • Understanding requirements of regulatory compliance and accreditation
    • Basic experience with funding and required documentation
    • Understanding of quality systems and continuous improvement
    • Full Australian working rights
    • A current flu vaccination
    • Willing to undertake a pre-employment functional assessment and National Police clearance
