Help at Home by Montefiore has been an industry leader in providing quality home care support for the Aged Care and Disability sector, for over a decade. With our unique go to market strategy, we pride ourselves on understanding clients' requirements and ensuring that the "right" carers are supporting our clients every time.

Due to growth in our client base and a new business initiative, we are currently looking to expand our team of Allied Health professionals with an experienced Occupational Therapist, who has flexible working hours or is looking to compliment an existing part time role.

Our Headquarters is based in the leafy suburb of Double Bay, but this role will take you across the Eastern Suburbs as well as North of Sydney Harbour for our lovely client base. We are a small, yet close knit team that works in a respective and collaborative environment.

The role:

You will be supporting Help at Home clients with tailored assessments and interventions relevant to client goals within the home environment. You will be required to work on a permanent part time basis and work collaboratively with each Care Coordinator to ensure all client goals and expectations are met.

One of our 2021 initiatives is to introduce the COPE (Care of people with Dementia) program to our client base. Ideally you will have completed the COPE training or be open to COPE training and to identify opportunities to engage our clients in this program where relevant.

Essential Criteria:

  • Bachelor degree of Occupational Therapy
  • AHPRA registration
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • P2 or open driver's licence
  • Ability to pass a National Police Check
  • Excellent presentation
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional manner

Desirable Criteria:

  • COPE (Care of people with Dementia) program qualified
