Position Summary:

Coordinate the business, corporate and executive priorities and activities of the Data, Intelligence, Modelling and Epidemiology (DIME) Executive Director, Information and Analytics (I&A)

Support the Executive Director, I&A by providing administrative and logistical support, including inbox management, diary management, and stakeholder liaison


  • Provide quality and timely administrative support to the Executive Director, I&A.
  • Provide operational, project and Executive support to the relevant internal stakeholder.
  • Expand and maintain a sound understanding of government processes and compliance obligations, political sensitivities and the complexities of the current operating environment.
  • Maintain and coordinate an effective calendar and filing system, ensuring competing demands are effectively managed Build and manage collaborative and cooperative stakeholder relationships across the Department and wider government groups.
  • Provide secretariat support as and where required in meetings by assisting in meeting coordination, as well as preparing agendas and taking minutes.
  • Co-ordinate relevant staff responses and/or input into projects, programs and reports.
  • Proactively address enquiries with a high level of discretion, maturity, diplomacy and judgement.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness of matters coming into and out of the office to effectively respond to enquiries and exercise sound judgement on the manner of response.
  • Provide support to the Executive Leadership team as required.
