Aged Care Director of Care and Operations Full-time role Competitive remuneration of $100,000 to $130,000 pa. (depending on experience) Opportunity to step up into a management position Who we are: Aberlea Inc., located in Mortlake, Vic. consists of 40 residential aged care beds and delivers a full range of care with eight dementia specific suites and ageing in place through the entire facility. Aberlea also services its community by offering meals on wheels, home care services and independent living options in both Mortlake and Timboon. Who we are looking for: The Director of Care and Operations will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of the facility including in relation to standard of care, legislative compliance, resourcing, finances, accreditation and business operations. This will be achieved through effective leadership, team management, continuous improvement and operational excellence whilst meeting all accreditation and legislative requirements. Working closely with the clinical team, the Director of Care and Operations will lead a team of clinicians, personal carers, hospitality officers and support staff, ensuring their ongoing performance by providing support and direction to enable their success. The Director of Care and Operations will be responsible for the entire care/quality system as well as ensuring strong financial management by maximising ACFI funding and drive community engagement to support occupancy. The successful candidate will have a compassionate approach, coupled with flair and confidence to introduce original ideas and apply new methods.
