About the Role:

This is a unique opportunity where you will be able to work with our clients residential and community customers (2 days per week in the community; 2 days per week in the residential programs) helping them to improve their quality of life and enabling them to live full and meaningful lives.

The role is based in North Metro with flexibility over the days and hours of work. During your 2 days of work in the community, you will visit our customers in their homes and work autonomously using your initiative and caring approach. 

Job Requirements:

To be considered for this exciting and unique opportunity you will have the following:

  • Qualified and experienced physiotherapist and have current registration with the Board of WA
  • Understanding and appreciation of contemporary Physiotherapy practice and issues in aged care (residential and community)
  • Ability to relate to older people with empathy, understanding and affording dignity and respect
  • Demonstrated ability to complete busy workload and respond to changing priorities
  • An effective team member with the ability to positively contribute, lead and work flexibly in a team environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in a wide range of IT applications
  • Commitment to providing a customer centric approach
  • An ability to collaborate, negotiate and contribute toward multi-disciplinary team approach to care planning and delivery

Essential Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Hold the appropriate rights to work in Australia
  • National Police Clearance (screened in accordance with the organisations policies)
  • Influenza vaccination on an annual basis
  • Registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (APHRA) as a Physiotherapist
