The opportunity

We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Facilities Officer to join our team on a full-time basis based at our Osborne Park office.

As part of the Facilities team, you will provide and deliver property solutions for the portfolio of offices and clinics across Western Australia. The property solutions include maintenance (ad hoc & planned preventative) and security requirements. You will also be responsible for the delivery of minor works and restorative works projects as required. Visits to both local sites and other travel may be required.

Key responsibilities
  • Ensure all building works are prioritised and scheduled in accordance with agreed timeframes, budget, service level agreements regulations and Australian Standards.
  • Liaise with staff and contractors on various facilities management issues.
  • Attend sites as required to co-ordinate and monitor work to ensure effective contract management and client satisfaction is being met.
  • Recommend any saving or sustainability solution which will assist delivery of the Property and Procurement strategy and plan.
About you

The ideal candidate will have demonstrated knowledge in a similar role and will be able to demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
  • Experience in delivering minor works and restorative works projects.
  • Some knowledge of property management.
  • The ability to work in a reactive manner to suit the needs of the property portfolio.
  • Highly developed verbal and written communication and interpersonal.
  • Well-developed problem-solving skills with the ability to research and analyse information.
  • Highly developed organisational skills.
  • A proven capability in project management.
Under the Aged Care act 1997, successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory National Police Clearance prior to commencement.
