Multiple opportunities available with immediate start (casual and part-time)
Based across Metropolitan Adelaide and the Gawler / Barossa region
Assist older people to live at home longer by providing quality care and support that promotes their independence and wellbeing

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for friendly, passionate individuals to work with older people in their own homes helping them live independently and remain living at home.

You will make a genuine difference in the lives of our customers by drawing on your compassion and commitment as you tailor your support to meet individual customer’s goals and needs. No job will be too hard or too basic for you - whether it is personal care, transport, cleaning or social support, you will always be eager to help.

What can you expect to be doing?
Drive to and from customer visits in your own car (mileage allowance provided)
Provide a range of support services such as personal care, transport, meal preparation, cleaning and social support
Build friendly relationships with a broad range of customers and their families
Work independently and enjoy a diverse range of activities
Read and follow Care Plans and task instructions
Maintain excellent communication with Coordinators regarding customer's health and wellbeing
What do you need to bring?
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
A current full Australian driver’s licence and your own insured, roadworthy vehicle (for which you will be paid mileage allowance)
Demonstrated understanding of the physical, emotional and social needs of older people
Excellent interpersonal skills that enable you to build meaningful relationships with customers and colleagues
Willingness to go above and beyond to provide individualised care to older people in their own homes
Flexibility to work a range of shifts
