We are seeking to employ an experienced Residential Manager to lead the team at our Juniper Chrystal Halliday Aged Care home, located on the ocean side of Karrinyup. Chrystal Halliday is one of our newly built, state of the art facilities and incorporates 120 rooms across 3 levels. It has successfully passed its recent accreditation audit and is very proud to be accredited until 2024 as a result.

To excel in this position, you will need to be a compassionate and confident person, with significant experience within the aged care sector and with managing a large, diverse team. In addition to your outstanding people and communication skills, you will have strong leadership experience and financial acumen.

Juniper is a large, well established aged care organisation, able to support you efficiently with a well-resourced head office, and a highly skilled Residential Leadership team available to help you succeed. You will also have the full-time support of two Clinical Nurse Managers, on site Monday to Friday, during business hours.

Recent experience with the Aged Care Quality Standards will be highly regarded, as will a current AHPRA Registration.

The Skills, Knowledge and Experience required:

  • Possess a relevant qualification (Registered Nurse highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of budget and financial management
  • Demonstrated experience with managing human resources and rostering
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Understanding of the principles of change management
  • Above average communication skills (written and oral)
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated time management skills, resourcefulness and initiative.
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office Programs and other business software.
  • Satisfactorily pass all relevant Key Personnel checks including Bankruptcy and Police Clearance
