Position Summary:
The objective of the Responsive Engagement and Testing team is to build trust and confidence, increase COVID safe behaviours, improve vaccination uptake, and support testing and effective isolation. he team has a focus on high-risk settings, culturally diverse and vulnerable communities.

Responsibilities:
Use data and evidence to design and lead strategies that reduce transmission and impact of COVID-19, particularly within diverse and vulnerable communities
Build relationships with relevant stakeholders, both within and outside of the COVID-19 response, to reduce transmission and impact of COVID-19.
Design, implement and continuously improve our approach to outbreak prevention, preparedness, response and recovery.
Manage staff, budget and risk within the Rapid Response team
Deliver high quality, timely strategies, operational plans and reports
Work effectively with our commissioned service providers to drive high quality performance and value for money
Provide leadership, guidance and advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters
